Just bring sunscreen, a towel, water, and a positive attitude! We provide all surf equipment including boards and rash guards.

Basic swimming ability is recommended for safety, but we can work with weak swimmers in shallow water. Please let us know in advance.

All our lessons are 2 hours long, which includes beach instruction, water time, and breaks as needed.

We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before your lesson. Weather-related cancellations receive a full refund or reschedule.

We have two locations: Montezuma and Santa Teresa (Playa Hermosa). We'll choose the best spot based on conditions and your skill level.

Costa Rica has great surf year-round! The dry season (December-April) offers consistent waves and sunny weather, while the green season (May-November) has bigger swells.

Yes! All our instructors are ISA (International Surfing Association) certified and trained in water safety and first aid.

Yes, all students are covered by our insurance during lessons.

We maintain low student-to-instructor ratios, assess conditions before each lesson, provide proper equipment, and our instructors are trained in emergency response.

While surfing is generally safe with proper instruction, our insurance covers any injuries. Our instructors are first-aid certified and will provide immediate assistance.
